H.J. Paris - Hippolyte Jouvin - 1825-1887 ca.

Hippolyte Jouvin (1825-ca. 1887) was an early photographer. He often signed his images as " Photographie H. J. Paris ". Jouvin was a pioneer of the photograph of the streets of Paris, producing View Stéréoscopiques (Stereoviews). He photographed equally Rouen and the Town of Paris.
Jouvin is present in the collections of the museum of Orsay and The National Library of France.
